Environment: the ISO 14001 commitment

SHEM has chosen to commit itself to a proactive approach to provide better protection for the environment and sustainable management of growth. Loyal to its values, it has continued with the certification procedure that began in 2006 and, by 2009, had 100% of its facilities certified.

The main aims of this continuing improvement process are : le compliance with environmental and government regulations, the prevention of all pollution risks, regular monitoring of our environmental impacts, improved integration of our facilities into the environment and landscape and improved waste management in consultation with other entities involved in water policy.

Renewable energy: TÜV certification

The European organisation TÜV is an independent certifying body that checks and certifies renewable energy installations. The kWh from our power stations is certified as 100% renewable, and this energy is marketed under the AlpEnergie trademark.
